Accessibility at Cake or Dice
At Cake or Dice, we want everyone to feel comfortable, included, and able to enjoy their time with us. That’s why our space has been carefully designed with accessibility in mind.
Our café offers a calm environment with soft lighting and gentle background music, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The cafe and toilets is step-free throughout, for easy entry and movement, and our wheelchair-friendly layout ensures tables are spaced for comfortable access everywhere. We’re ARFID-friendly and understand that food sensitivities can make eating out difficult — we’ll always do our best to find something that works for you. Our team is allergy aware, so please let us know your requirements, and we’ll do everything we can to prepare food safely.
There’s plenty of choice for everyone, with vegan and vegetarian options always on the menu, plus dairy alternatives like oat milk for your coffee, tea or milkshake! We also have gluten-free or vegan cakes in stock so no one has to miss out on a treat.
We also provide hearing support with induction loops for visitors using hearing aids, and offer quiet spaces if you’d like a break from the main café. A variety of seating options — with arms, without arms, at different heights and widths — are available for comfort. And of course, assistance dogs are always welcome (we’re animal-friendly too!). If there’s anything else we can do to make your visit easier, just let us know — our team is always happy to help.
