Christmas buffet

A festive spread brought to your tables, with things such as turkey, stuffing and cranberry sliders, pigs in blankets and mince pies with cream.

£30 a head
Our Christmas menu features dishes such as the Turkey Feast burger, our vegan Yule burger and chocolate yule log with cream.

- NoticePlease book at least 7 days ahead.
- Last Christmas dateOur last Christmas bookings are on Sunday 20 December. We are closed from 21 December to 2 January.
- Confirming your bookingSend us a booking request and we will check your date, then confirm by email. Please only pay once we've confirmed your booking.
- PayingPaying a 50% deposit secures your date. You pay the balance when you confirm your final numbers, 7 days before your booking at the latest. You can also pay in full up front if you prefer.
- Final numbersPlease confirm your final guest numbers and pay any balance 7 days before your booking at the latest. Before then, you're welcome to change your numbers. If we don't have your final numbers and balance by then, your booking can't go ahead and your deposit isn't refunded.
- Changes and cancellationsIf you cancel more than 7 days before your booking, you'll get a full refund of what you've paid, including your deposit. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, there's no refund. If you need to change anything, please tell us as soon as possible. We can't guarantee changes within 7 days of your booking.
- DrinksCake or Dice is an alcohol free café, so table bookings are alcohol free. If you book exclusive hire, the café is yours, so you're welcome to bring your own drinks. We charge corkage of £1 a bottle.

Who are Christmas bookings for?
Businesses, organisations, teams, clubs and community groups who want a relaxed and friendly Christmas get together with food and board games.
How long is a booking?
Every Christmas booking is for 3 hours. Need a different length of booking? Tell us in the form or email contactus@cakeordice.co.uk and we'll do our best, but we can't promise.
What is the difference between a table booking and exclusive hire?
A table booking is for 4 to 12 guests on any open day, at your own table in the café alongside other guests.
Exclusive hire gives you the whole café for up to 50 guests, for 3 hours between 12pm and 10pm on a Monday or Tuesday, or Sunday 7pm to 10pm. We charge for a minimum of 25 guests.
What food is included?
Choose the Christmas buffet at £20 a head or the Christmas menu at £30 a head.
The buffet has festive favourites such as turkey, stuffing and cranberry sliders, pigs in blankets and mince pies. The menu features dishes such as the Turkey Feast burger, our vegan Yule burger and chocolate yule log.

Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes, please tell us about allergies and dietary needs on the form. We are allergy aware, and our usual menu has vegan and vegetarian choices.
There will be vegan and gluten free choices on both the buffet and the menu, such as our vegan Yule burger. Just tell us your numbers when you book and we will plan around them.
Do we need to know how to play board games?
Not at all. Board games are included in the price. We have 580+ games and our team and volunteers will help you choose and teach you how to play. Tell us your games preferences on the form and we will have ideas ready.
How do I book and pay?
Send us a booking request using the form. We will check your date and confirm by email. Please only pay once we've confirmed your booking.
Paying a 50% deposit by card through our secure online checkout secures your date. You pay the balance when you confirm your final numbers, 7 days before your booking at the latest. You can also pay in full up front if you prefer.
When do you need final numbers?
Please confirm your final guest numbers and pay any balance 7 days before your booking at the latest. Before then, you're welcome to change your numbers.
If we don't have your final numbers and balance by then, your booking can't go ahead and your deposit isn't refunded.
What if we need to change or cancel?
If you cancel more than 7 days before your booking, you'll get a full refund of what you've paid, including your deposit. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, there's no refund.
If you need to change anything, please tell us as soon as possible. You're welcome to change your numbers up to 7 days before. We can't guarantee changes within 7 days of your booking.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Cake or Dice is an alcohol free café, so table bookings are alcohol free.
If you book exclusive hire, the café is yours, so you're welcome to bring your own drinks. We charge corkage of £1 a bottle.
What are the last dates for Christmas bookings?
Our last Christmas bookings are on Sunday 20 December. We are closed from 21 December to 2 January.
